Just spent the last couple of days on a brief building mission trip to the far west of New South Wales...the township of Leeton...7,000 population in the town with another 12,000 in the immediate surrounds.
Pleasing to see some "green" as the winter wheat starts to break through. Farmers are desperately in need of rain for a successful crop later on.
A team of 15-20 from my church were assisting Leeton Baptist with repairs and painting on their manse. They hope to rent the place for some income to be used in further community outreach. Great bunch of people there and I trust our team was a blessing to them. I thoroughly enjoyed the change of pace...and working with wood, gap-filler, and paint for a couple of days...Especially enjoyed working closely with Al Harrison under supervision of crew boss Brian.
